Donia Aly is a passionate Toronto-enthusiast, field producer, reporter and social media specialist. Her marketing and social media services have been catered to the needs of not-for-profit organizations as well as retail businesses in Toronto. She has also engaged in event-day tweeting for the “106 & York” show and Ryerson University's "Story Hackathon 2014." 

 

Currently, Donia spends her time pursuing her passion within the television industry. With RogersTV, she is gaining experience as a camera operator, audio assistant, reporter and field producer. 

 

Her unconditional desire to support individuals, groups and organizations is infectious and as a result she is a well sought after project team member across the city.

 

As a core staff member of 4Reasonz, Donia enjoys her social media position because she is able to use her Communications background while being part of a unique collective that creates developmental projects for youth. 

 

During the summer of 2012 & 2013, she co-hosted and emcee’d 4Reasonz's “Phoenix Classic" anti-gun violence basketball tournament (www.4reasonz.com) alongside NBA TV Canada’s host of "The Hangout", Akil Augustine. She also had the opportunity to commentate during the championship game alongside Duane Watson & Will Strickland of TSN's "1-on-1."

 

In November 2013, Donia hosted 4Reasonz's 1st Annual "Phoenix Undercard" Anti-Bullying Basketball Tournament at Ryerson University. There, she emceed throughout the tournament, lead contests/prize giveaways sponsored by the Toronto Raptors and hosted the Anti-Bullying Halftime Show.
